About the Role

Crane Central Sdn Bhd is seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Senior UI/UX Designer

to lead the design and user experience direction of our digital products for both internal initiatives and client projects.

You will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centred experiences across web applications, mobile apps, and complex system interfaces -- collaborating closely with the development team

and engaging with clients

to ensure designs align with both business objectives and user needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the design process from concept to delivery, including wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs Conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design improvements Creating and maintaining design systems, style guides, and component libraries for consistency Working closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently Participating in client meetings to gather requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback Designing responsive layouts and user experiences for web, mobile, and complex system platforms Balancing aesthetics and usability, ensuring an optimal user experience without sacrificing performance Staying updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices

What We're Looking For

4-6 years of proven UI/UX design experience (

consulting industry

experience is a strong plus) Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI and UX design work across web, mobile, and system applications Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and responsive design Experience collaborating directly with developers and clients to ensure alignment and pixel-perfect implementation Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Bonus:

Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge design and development more effectively
