Job Description

• 3 years and above work experience as a Video Editor in videography and filmmaking
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Proven skills and experience with video editing software packages (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and etc)
• Experience in video producing, directing, shooting, and/or photography is a big-plus
• Excellent aesthetic and skill for capturing visual moments and telling stories
• Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
• Perform in a dynamic and self-initiating environment
• Strictly Mandarin Speaker

• Creating and developing multimedia (audio/video) content for digital media platforms and social commerce
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation by creating concept scripts, boards, and other visual representations of planned edits
• Able to plan the shoot with the creative team and the client
• Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each updated in the correct format
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film, include music & dialogues, input graphics and effects, and create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running and improve video and sound quality using various video software
• Work closely with business/project lead to present a final product that helps achieve business/project objectives effectively
• Assist in video creation and audio recording using a variety of equipment including studio cameras, DSLRs, and any handheld video cameras
