Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials (e.g., metal coils/sheets), tools, dies, consumables, and finished goods.
Ensure accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.
Plan and coordinate periodic stock counts and cycle counts.
Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies.
2. Material Receiving & Inspection
Oversee receipt of incoming materials, components, and packaging.
Ensure incoming goods are inspected for quality, quantity, and specifications.
Coordinate with QA/QC team for quality clearance.
Update inventory and generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
3. Material Issuance & Dispatch
Coordinate timely issuance of raw materials and tools to production lines based on job orders.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed to minimize wastage.
Oversee packaging and dispatch of finished goods to customers or warehouses.
Prepare shipping and logistics documentation (delivery orders, invoices, packing lists).
4. Store Operations & Organization
Supervise daily store operations, ensuring 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Optimize space utilization and storage systems (racking, labeling, bins).
Ensure safe handling and storage of heavy metal components and stamping tools.
5. Team Management & Coordination
Lead and train a team of storekeepers, forklift operators, and warehouse assistants.
Assign duties, monitor KPIs, and evaluate team performance.
Coordinate with production, planning, procurement, and logistics departments.
6. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate documentation for audits, ISO/IATF requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSH/warehouse safety).
Manage MSDS and safety data sheets for hazardous materials (if applicable).
7. Monthly Store Check
Conduct and document monthly store checks to verify inventory accuracy, physical conditions, labeling, and housekeeping standards.
Identify and report any irregularities or risks for corrective action.
Submit monthly reports to management and assist in audit preparations.
8. Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement improvements in store processes, stock accuracy, and lead times.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, etc.).
