The Services Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. About The Opportunity The Services Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting, and managing customer expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager. What You'll Get To Do Provide Implementation Services to Customers Document and validate customer's business requirements and map to Ceridian functionality Configure Ceridian application to meet customer's documented business requirements Conduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) and document with meeting minutes Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise Be a 'go-to' resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users Contribute to internal Implementation initiatives Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository Contribute to internal knowledge share; review posted feedback on a continuous basis and respond to questions Participate in Continuing Education sessions Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release Respond to a variety of 1st level HR-related inquiries from employees Handle employment verification letters Proactively suggest process improvement to enhance the efficiency of HR admin processes Works with Payroll to ensure accurate payroll data for employees Provides timely and accurate statutory reporting and submission to the respective statutory boards to include monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Handles minor discipline issues and assist in investigations. Actively participate in employee engagement programs. Experience with one or more of the following applications: SalesForce.com, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, PeopleSoft, Ceridian (preferred) Experience with at least 1 country leave/overtime/pay statutory requirements. Singapore/Malaysia/India/China/Philippines/Thailand/Japan/other APJ countries. Experience in Workforce Management (WFM) processes, (Leave, time management, clock-in/out, overtime rules etc.) Knowledge of local statutory requirements Well versed in HCM terminologies, and best practices Working understanding of HCM best practices through on-the-job experience Proficient in Microsoft Office products Experience with HCM software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL is an asset Basic understanding of XML is an asset Understanding of common human capital management (HCM) business practices Understanding of different industries and how software can be applied to support customer's business practices Customer relationship acumen Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities Excellent organization , communication, and collaboration skills Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions Ceridian is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
