Job Description


The Senior Desktop Engineer position is responsible for supporting, maintaining a
standardized of Windows client image release, test lab management.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day client desktop management support, troubleshooting,
hardware device test lab management.
  • Evaluate new and emerging product technologies to enhance the Windows client OS.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of new laptop /desktop hardware models, transition
process maintaining a continuous build and test cycle.
  • Effectively collaborate with team members and various regions
  • Create and maintain processes and documents pertaining to the managed workstation environment.
  • Responsible of business-as-usual activity including global patching, windows features deployment,
Microsoft 365 Apps deployment process.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting skills Windows 10, O365, Browsers (IE/Edge/Chrome), Bitlocker,
Windows Hello for Business
  • Knowledge of Windows Client build and deployment, SCCM software distribution,
software update management, and asset intelligence.
  • Experience in PC refresh deployments
  • Experience in hardware certification process.
  • Knowledge of Autopilot, Active Directory, GPO,
  • Fundamental understanding of network concept, proxies, DNS, DHCP
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Highly self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Windows 11 is an advantage.
