Service Engineer (Malacca Based)
Job descriptionPentamaster Corporation Berhad is seeking a talented Service Technician to join our team in Malacca site.
Provide enterprise-level support to customers. An ideal technical support engineer/ technician resume should address their ability to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve the issues to the clients' satisfaction.
Ensuring all assigned assembly tasks are completed with compliance to quality, schedule and budget requirements within company goals to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues by understanding from customers about the issues they are facing in a detailed fashion.
In charge and responsible of machine assembly, panels assembly, wiring, pneumatics routing and cable management.
Consult with vision and automation programmer if there is any issue on programming on the machine at customer place.
Responsible of tool testing and alignment for machine optimum operation.
Responsible of machine data collection for buy-off or verification purposes as per request by customer.
Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Provide training to client for new installed equipment and additional request of training from client for their new staff.
Ability to self-direct on projects and tasks and the ability to provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
Report project status on timely manner and attend meetings with customers or Pentamaster team if they are required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Certificate Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or Manufacturing or Industrial Technology.
Minimum 2 years of experience in automation field, able to work independently without any supervision.
Technical skills in machine mechanical and electrical, working knowledge in machine assembly process.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting mechanical drawing and electrical schematics.
