Position: Service Engineer Location: Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam Highlights: Salary up to RM6k+ (Negotiable based on your skillset) Required to travel China Factory (Da Lian), need to stay at China around 1 month time if there\'s project to be assigned. Meal/Hardship Allowance 13th Month Salary Bonuses based on performance Key Responsibilities: Installation: To supervise and/or to install rack & pinion and traction rope elevator and able to demonstrate a high level of commitment ensuring to a timely and safe project delivery. Preventive/Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on both elevator systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot elevator malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions promptly. Emergency callout: Respond to emergency service calls and breakdowns, providing timely and efficient repairs to minimize downtime and inconvenience to building occupants. Safety Compliance: Ensure all elevator systems are maintained in accordance with relevant safety codes and regulations, adhering to established procedures and guidelines. Administration: Submit and maintain accurate service records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced, and any other relevant documentations. Parts Recommendation: Identify worn or faulty components and relay the correct information of parts such as part number and/or photo. Parts Replacement: Ensure the use of genuine parts only to enhance elevator safety, performance, reliability, and longevity. Technical Support: Collaborate with fellow technicians, engineers, and supervisors to address technical issues and work hand in hand to find effective solutions. Preventive Measures: Propose and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize unexpected breakdowns and prolong elevator lifespan. Client Communication: Interact professionally with client to explain maintenance procedures, discuss repair options, and address any concerns. Training: To assist certified trainer to conduct rack & pinion and traction rope elevator trainings not limited to operator training. Qualifications: Minimum Diploma: Possession of a diploma in Electrical Engineering or in related field. Certifications: Relevant certifications in elevator maintenance or repair shall be construed as a supplementary document. Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in traction elevator maintenance is preferred, but candidates with strong electrical engineering background and a willingness to learn will also be considered. Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical elevator components. Transportation: Own transport (vehicle) is required to commute between home and office. Communication: Adequate verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin, Malay and English language for interacting with team members and clients. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Safety Consciousness: A high self-discipline and true believer of adhering safety protocols and regulations. Able to work safely at various heights and in confined spaces. Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in performing inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure elevators operate optimally and safely. Flexibility: Willingness to work overseas and/or local outstation field works. Willing and able to work on flexible hours that includes after normal working hours, including weekends and shift works should emergency calls and maintenance demands arise.
