What does a Service Engineer do?

• Sealed Air Malaysia is looking for a motivated and experienced Service Engineer to Equipment & Engineering team. Reporting to Engineering and Equipment Manager SEA, you will act as the main supporting role to handle not only engineering works related to SEE equipment, but also serve as the ambassador to influence customers in engaging their business using SEE materials, spare parts, and services.
• With solid technical skills, you will provide quality technical service including installation, commissioning, training, and maintenance works to customers to ensure equipment is always at tip top condition.

• You will be the key person in Installation / commissioning of equipment in scope at customer\'s plant.
• You will attend breakdowns or machine issues and work to resolve for customer\'s complete satisfaction.
• You will provide maintenance to the equipment as per customer\'s service agreement or sales contract and actively promoting and \xe2\x80\x9cselling\xe2\x80\x9d service agreements and spare parts.
• You will actively scout for field service opportunities not only to promote service sales, but also to increase time utilization.
• You need to conducting equipment audits with application specialist or sales Department. Ensuring the machines settings are optimal.
• You need to develop a strong customer relationship to expand our existing equipment and service business.
• You will recommending the required spare parts stock, following up and identifying any gap.
• You need to be strict compliance to SEE policy regarding personal and machine safety.
• You need to prepare and distribute service reports for all service work undertaken.
• You need to ensure timely reporting using SEE official reporting media.
• You will maintain and update all records related to customer\'s equipment.
• You need to suggest equipment improvement to the Engineering team, based on field experience.

What are we looking for in you?

• Electromechanical bachelor with min. 3 years\' experience.
• Electrical/automation engineer with strong field experience on mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry.
• Demonstrated equipment installation experience preferably with packaging machinery.
• Demonstrated experience in servicing and troubleshooting automated systems.
• Good understanding of packaging material applications and equipment.
• Able to work alone at customers.
• Able to travel and be flexible with working days and hours.
