They lead the team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are done efficiently and to a high standard. They also handle customer concerns, manage daily operations, and work to improve customer satisfaction and service performance.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the service team, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews
Ensure all vehicle servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates on the status of their vehicles
Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, and place orders as necessary
Implement and maintain processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
Identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations to the management team
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry
Strong technical knowledge of automobile systems and components
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team, and delegate tasks effectively
Proficient in inventory management and cost control
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
