Job Description

The Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining aerial work platforms (AWP) and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The role includes diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues, interpreting technical drawings, and performing high-quality repairs.

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on AWP and MEWP equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues; carry out repairs, upgrades, and minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical drawings and maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
• Provide on-site technical support and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations during all service activities.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies.
• Travel occasionally across AME for service assignments.

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment servicing (AWP, MEWP, or heavy machinery preferred).
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and strong communication skills.
