Objectives of the Position

Global Digital Services is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. The Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.

The introduction and operation of innovative digital solutions is key for our success and a great customer experience. With ServiceNow, BASF uses an integrated state-of-the-art user support platform for internal support, incorporating and enhancing lots of digitalization opportunities.

About the Job: In this role, you will design and implement ServiceNow based solutions which BASF requires to support internal users and drive our self-service strategy.

Main Tasks

• Service Now Product screening on new features. Identification of opportunities for application in a Service Desk environment
• Consulting upon new features, development of concepts and implementation plans.
• Cost estimations for implementations
• Guiding implementation along with SMEs, UX Designers, and stakeholders
• Development, improvement, and enhancement of Service Desk related ServiceNow modules/applications - e. g. Virtual Agent, Agent Chat, Real Time Translations (DTAC), AI based modules etc.
• Monitoring of applications, health checks. Assist the relevant operations teams with the troubleshooting and recovery of issues. Technical testing of provided solutions
• Release upgrade support
• Support for documentations, Knowledge transfer & User training

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field

Working Experience

• Strong team player, collaboration with remote teams across different time zones

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
• 3+ years of experience in a ServiceNow development environment
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience to work with multi-instances (DEV, TEST, QA, PROD) and ServiceNow deployment processes (Update Sets, XML data transfer, etc.)
• High level of competency writing and maintaining JavaScript and HTML
• Fluent English language - written and spoken
