PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) group serves SAP customers in managing their data and transforming their landscapes. Business, market, and technology changes often result in realignment of business processes and structures.
This reflects in various business and IT driven activities, such as

• Fast-track data migration and the move to SAP S/4HANA Cloud via SAP Selective Data Transition (SDT) approach
• Manage business and IT challenges that come with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Optimization of processes and data, or organizational restructuring
• Ensure data harmonization, data restructuring or the consolidation of IT system landscapes
• End-to-end data management solutions to improve data governance, master data management, data quality and information lifecycle management

We support and advise our customers globally in strategy definition, conceptual planning, and the realization of their business and digital transformation requirements. In fast pace changing market and business requirements, it is also essential for customers to adopt to the digital platform to drive their business innovation with SAP S/4HANA cloud. The DMLT service portfolio and solution offerings play a significant role in helping customer to transition to SAP S/4HANA, BW/4, SuccessFactors, SAP Data Intelligence and more.
Our service portfolio delivery ranges from short term engagements to long-term customer projects across global locations.
THE ROLE AND EXPECTATIONS
The SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) is part of Business Data Cloud and Data Services Solution Area in Adoption Service Center under the Customer Success & Delivery Board Area. We are searching for a senior consultant to join the DMLT consulting team in SAP Malaysia office.
As a DMLT Services Architect Senior Consultant, your job will involve working in a global team focusing on delivering national and international projects across global regions to realize planned changes in productive SAP applications and system landscapes and drive customers transition to SAP S/4HANA. The DMLT team offers a full solution package encompassing analysis, architecture and service delivery putting the customers in the center of all our activities.
Your main tasks are:

• Identifying customers holistic business needs and designing and architecting the appropriate solution proposal from the DMLT service portfolio and beyond
• Leading and facilitating customers workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for the customers requirement
• Delivering of DMLT services projects remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams
• Conducting feasibility studies and system analyses, supported by SAP DMLT products, tools and methodology
• Contributing to continuously enhance the DMLT solution design according to changing market requirements and identify potential enhancements
• Closely collaborate with people in different roles and locations, and with different areas and levels of expertise (for example, customer success partner, developers, product owners, solution architects, sales teams)
• Establish and maintaining trustful relationships with internal and external customers.
• Drive customer opportunities throughout all engagement phases (presales, sales and delivery)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor or Master's in computer science or related field
• Business development skills understand customers pain points and present potential SAP DMLT data transformation solutions and conduct GTM exercise to drive business
• Ability to drive execution within area of responsibility and experience in aligning cross-topic objectives & approaches
• 'Make it happen' and 'Fighter' attitude, hands on approach. Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Skills in other language is a strong asset
• Very good analytical skills combined with the ability to condense and visualize results.
• Soft skills in communication, scope management, change management

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience as Consultant or Solution Architect of SAP Software solution portfolio or module
• Knowledge and experience in executing data migration and conversion projects, various data migration techniques and approaches, and/or data management topics like data management strategy, data intelligence, data quality, master data governance
• Strong work experience in one or more SAP ERP Solution as a functional consultant with technical skills (SAP data model, ABAP).
• Process know how for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate or Hire-2-Retire are a strong asset
• Strong experience to work with customers project team to define the functional and technical specification towards implementation for Finance and Logistic module with integration experience.
• Project management, Enterprise Architect, Business Consulting skills
• Knowledge of writing functional specifications, create or review solution concept & designs and technical specifications. Actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go-Live of Customer implementation projects
• Presales acumen, assisting in defining the scope of a project or opportunity, estimating efforts and project timelines
• Experience in running international consulting projects.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP financial processes and data models is a plus.
• Knowledge on SAPs best practice standards and tools for Application Lifecycle Management of Cloud Solutions is a plus
• Relevant SAP Technology experience, SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus
