A Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. The primary focus of this role is to enhance the functionality and performance of the marketing automation tools within the Salesforce ecosystem. The SFMC developer works closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate those needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
• Develop custom scripts, triggers, and APIs to enhance the functionality and performance of the marketing automation tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate those into technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to SFMC.
• Test and validate the SFMC solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies.
• Document SFMC solutions and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and ease of maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its various components such as Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Salesforce-specific programming languages like AMPscript.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data integration techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of marketing automation concepts and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education and Experience:

• A bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Salesforce certification (preferred).
