Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contract Manager
to be based in Johor Bahru.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing contracts for their current industrial park project.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee
pre- and post-contract management
for development projects
Monitor project tender schedules to ensure timely execution and deliverables
Prepare
vendor pre-qualification
documents (contractors, consultants) for management review and approval
Review tender documentation in collaboration with consultants, including
BOQs, contract conditions, specifications, and drawings
Manage and administer various contracts and subcontracts, including
payment certifications, variation orders, and final account settlements
Attend project meetings and participate in site evaluations as needed
Prepare and verify contractors' payment claims for management approval
Perform other related duties as assigned by the management
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Construction Management
, or related field
Minimum
5-7 years of QS experience
, preferably from a property developer
Proficient in
QS software
and industry-relevant tools
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent
communication and negotiation
skills; able to work collaboratively across teams
Solid understanding of
building codes, industry regulations
, and project standards
Proven track record in
budget management
and effective cost control
