- Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to understand the dimensions and tolerances required for each part.
- Setting up and operating machine tools such as CNC machines, laser cutting, bandsaw machines, and press brakes to cut, shape, and form sheet metal.
- Measuring and marking materials for cutting or shaping using precision tools like callipers and micrometers.
- Monitoring machine operations to ensure accuracy and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
- Inspecting finished parts for defects and verifying they meet specifications.
- Performing routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure smooth operation.
- Collaborating with engineers or production teams to troubleshoot issues or improve manufacturing processes
Able to drive forklifts and other lifting equipment safely.
