Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position: Shift Engineer - Production (Litho) Your Responsibilities First line of defend for technical related issue Excursion response and follow up for the Lithography activity Immediate respond to all line excursion and provide initial reporting and problem summary Decision maker of line blockage for any process abnormality Align with quality for line release Authority to give instructions and guidance to technical subordinates Provide support to other involved department. Process Control System (PCS) Monitoring health check per shift & respond Immediate inform to upstream or downstream department for inline/metro abnormal signal and ensure drive for full closure. Ensure all PCS trigger closure on time as per require include Corrective action and preventive action (CAPA). Review of shift Basic Finding (BF) to early detection of any sign of abnormal. Paper audit to all processes in respective department. Issued Basic Finding (BF) on every finding and follow up of BF closure. Align Off time with Colleagues and Superior Attend Meetings with AT&S internal members, workshop and other activities related to production. Blocking of Machines, lots and processes. Coordinate work with other departments related to machine supplier or material supplier Cost reduction and Cost cutting Ensure proper pass down information, use Company tools and given templates for the information pass down Excursion management and follow up also ensure smooth handover of new product from Technology Development (TD) to HVM Excursion prevention with minimum 2 times line walk per shift to spot for any non POR compliance. Follow up in the system with Basic findings (BF\'s). Make sure, they are closed in time and all required corrective actions are done and evaluated Follow up in the system with Internal Deviations (ID\'s). Make sure, they are closed in time and all required corrective actions are done and evaluated Maintain Yield baseline and improve Yield Performance, Yield monitoring and Low Yield Analyses Process specific machine availability improvement to maximize productivity with minimum schedule and unscheduled down time. Continuous process specific run rate improvement to meet factory KPI. Limit the use of Equipment. (e.g. conditional release or blocking of Equipment) Make training documents for Operator & Technician, train engineer and engineer to work on site. Organized Reaction Plan (ORP) Execution for blocked Process Parameter definition for Machines and Processes Readiness for work on overtime and even in nighttime in urgent cases and emergencies as per superior\'s demand Readiness for work on weekends in urgent cases and emergencies also upon request by Head of Department (HOD) according to the duty plan Readiness for work on weekends to cover weekend duty arrangement from production HOD as per duty plan Recipe development, recipe maintenance and recipe management within the department Releasing of blocked Processes (Input Parameter, PCS) Releasing of Machines with focus on process excursion RC and recovery, validate the completion of supplier modification/engineering fixing. Final overview the process healthiness Releasing of Engineering Lots, DoE Lots and Special lots & etc. Lot Release of Standard Production lots Report line status, work status and incidents, as well as problems and highlights to Superiors in a timely and accurately via verbal and written.
