Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position: Shift Engineer - Production (SRSF) Your Responsibilities Responsible for high productivity of production lines by optimization of the process and tool availability, and coordinating the related technical resources Follow superior\'s decision and complete assigned task in timely manner Communicate and align the arrangement with the peer in other shifts Supervise his shift to accomplish all technical and administrative task Supervise and ensure the operational execution by the staff is completely compliance with the defined procedure and instruction Drive for the yield sustaining at shopfloor Abide the progress of production lot according to the schedule Anticipate on, and recognise and take action for events/situations that could adversely affect production efficiencies Drive for problem solving for any issue related to production in timely manner Coordinate with related department and staff to assure the shift staff hiring and qualification accomplishment to cope with production demand Ensure training to all the shift staff is systematic organized and well prepared, aiming that the trainee effectively learn and understand how to execute defined rules and task completion Information distribution and communication between operators, technicans and process engineers as well as other co-working departments Monitor and ensure the proper usage of Manufacturing Execution System Drive for operational development Supervise the vacancy planning so as to minimize production impact Manage and reduce the wastage of the production resources Implementation of TS16949 and ISO 14001, OHAS18001 Other duties assign by superior Your Profile Able to work on shift (12 hours rotation schedule) Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or Material Science fields or equivalent Minimum 5 years experience of working in shift for the SRSF in Semiconductor or PCB or Substrate Fabrications, Wafer Fabrication, Assembly and Test Engineering, Maintenance or Production Operations or equivalent, (required to work in clean room enviroment) Knowledge of quality tools: 8D, SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, CP, JMP Software, Six Sigma Process tools Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills, becoming role models as pioneer start up team Able to lead teams of Engineers, Technicians to meet strict installation and qualification milestone Our Offer Personal and professional growth opportunities in a Greenfield Project of a recognized MNC A chance to actively contribute to AT&S success and to create value A secure position with long-term career perspective in an internationally expanding environment Attractive and competitive compensation package If you are looking for a new challenging task, please send us your application and your detailed resume.
