Job Description

Planning & organizing overall shift activities Arrange manpower replacement in EAF/LF/SG/CCM Coordinate work activities of production and maintenance in case of breakdown. Check with EAF & CCM Supervisor on what activities can be performed during this period Programs ladle usage, tundish sequence change & patching of ladle blocks Check and review scrap blend, bucket level, and heat size. Adjust accordingly to achieve the target heat size and minimize scrap overcharge delay Records observations, abnormalities, or problems encountered in the production logbook. Report to the head of production on any issues of subordinates For any impending delays that will be more than 30 minutes, inform the production head of production-related delays. For equipment breakdown, inform the head of maintenance or the plant manager Take over the job of Assistant Shift In Charge in case is absent and no replacement is available

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a SPM/ STPM/ Certificate, etc At least 1 year of working experience in the related field Language Proficiency: English (beginner), Bahasa Melayu Willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang Willing to work in the heavy duty steel industry and shift hours
