Job Description

Position Brief To assist the Factory Manager and working in shift to supervise the production and packing which he/she is in-charge of in order to meet the company\'s objectives. He/she is responsible for all the process involving the ingredient preparations from the raw material to cooking, filling and packing. He/she to lead the production department towards achieving an efficient operation to produce top quality products with lowest cost to support sales.

• Review manpower attendance with production supervisor or section leaders to ensure smooth operation to achieve the production schedule. To make necessary arrangement example overtime to cover for any shortage of manpower or re-shuffle manpower to cover absent.
• To ensure production equipment, facilities and machine in good condition and follow according to the specifications & settings also are well calibrated.
• To ensure all the raw materials required are prepared according to the schedule planning.
• To review production performance and take the lead role in the carrying out the corrective and preventive measures.
• To identify and institute disciplinary action on workers who are not complying with the company procedures and misconduct. Disciplinary actions in form of written reminder/warnings and to recommend for suspension in case of serious misconduct.
• To liaise with QC on matters with regards to quality of products and materials and comply in terms of waivers request, line audit/reaudit, material rejections/ON HOLD\xe2\x80\xa6etc.
• To arrange training for his subordinate with HR department in area which they are weak in.
• To comply with Safety Standard to achieved a safe working environment.
• To lead the production team to achieve and comply with all BRC & HACCP Standard. And to ensure all documents are updated in time and all the procedures are followed. Check that the housekeeping and sanitation is done according to sanitation schedule agreed on and the HACCP practice done as per requirements.
• To lead the production audit by supplier and reply the CAPA together with section leader accordingly and on time required.
• To ensure production schedule are strictly followed to meet timely availability of the products for delivery and to ensure the smoothness of overall operation.
• To develop process and quality improvement plan to reduce wastage and idle time to achieve target efficiency.
• At the end the shift he/she has to make sure all the required reports are prepared by the Section Leader and checked thoroughly before update the team.
• Chair the meeting with Section leader, when necessary, but at least twice a month. To lead the briefing and resolve issues.
• Be responsible of his subordinates\' attendance and break time is strictly adhere.
• During the shut-down or end of production, he shall verify and check with the Production Supervisor on each of every production block are shut-down and switch off according by using Factory Equipment check list.
• To lead the team during monthly stock take for raw materials and packaging material and be responsible on any variance to write off. To investigate the root cause of any shortage\'s material related to stock take.
• Others as and whenever necessary he/she will be assigned according to the needs and approved by the Factory Manager.
