Job Description

The incumbent is requires to manage, coordinate and implement control over the Shipping Operation by utilizing existing facilities and manpower which involves the following process: -

Operational Duties

1. Properly dressed while on duty.

2. Permission is to be obtained before leaving Shipping Office.

3. Keeping all books and documents up to date.

4. Report all incidents and to note them down in incident book.

5. Cleanliness of Shipping Office.

6. Any defects in equipment in operation are to be raised up soon as possible and noted in defect book.

7. All documents are to be filed in respective files.

8. No unnecessary transmission or conversation on walkie-talkie that been issued.

9. Employee card are to be worn throughout in the Berjaya Waterfront Ferry Terminal Johor Bharu.

10. Assist Berthing Assistant in handling of ferry in and out when needed.

11. Coordinate and monitor passengers at Departure and Arrival.

12. Preparing manifest in cases where Senior Shipping Clerk is on leave.

13. Collect Boarding Pass at the end door Departure Hall before passengers proceed to ferry.

14. Controlling Not To Land Passengers (NTL) before handling the responsibility over to Master.

15. Arrange all document concerning Clearance started from arrival of each ferries until their departure from Jetty Berjaya Waterfront Johor Bharu.

16. Assist Information to collect portion ticket before passengers entering to Immigration counter for Check out.

17. To be final checker in case there is passengers still not onboard or Check Out at Immigration office if passengers been detained or not.

18. Assist Senior Shipping Supervisor or Assistant Shipping Supervisor if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
