Job Description

Job Summary:



The Shipping Clerk supports the company's import and export operations by ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.

Tracks, trace of incoming raw materials, equipment, assemblies and MRO, from suppliers and other Masimo facilities.

This role involves document preparation, coordination with customs authorities and logistics providers, and maintaining accurate trade records.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Coordinate import and export shipments under the LMW license.

Ensure all import and export activities comply with applicable customs laws, trade regulations, and internal company policies.

Prepare, and maintain accurate trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declaration forms (e.g., K1/K2).

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers,

Work with regulatory agencies like MITI, MIDA, SIRIM and Customs for LMW licensing and compliance.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date Customs records, permits, and duty exemption approvals.

Assist in the application, renewal, and tracking of import/export licenses, permits, and relevant approvals.

Provide day-to-day operational support for compliance and shipping activities, including other tasks assigned by management.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



Minimum Qualifications/Educt:



At least

1-2 years of working experience

in import/export operations, customs documentation, shipping, or trade compliance.

Basic knowledge of customs regulations, HS code classification, and international trade procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

Good communication skills in both

English and Bahasa Malaysia

.

Strong attention to detail, with good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple shipments or documents simultaneously.

Diploma

Physical requirements/Work Environment



This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
