Provide clear and precise hand or radio signals to crane operators and machinery operators during lifting operations.
Ensure that lifting paths are clear of obstacles and personnel before signaling operations to proceed.
Assist the lifting team in positioning and securing loads safely and accurately.
Monitor lifting operations to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
Comply with company safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
Conduct pre-lift safety checks and ensure that lifting gears and slings are in good condition.
Report unsafe acts, conditions, or equipment defects immediately to the supervisor.
Ensure exclusion zones are clearly marked and maintained during operations.
Maintain constant communication with crane operators, riggers, and supervisors to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Use standardized signaling methods as per industry and company procedures.
Coordinate with rigging crew during setup and dismantling of lifting equipment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum SPM or equivalent
Valid CIDB Green Card (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or heavy lifting operations.
Good understanding of crane operations, rigging, and lifting safety.
Must have Signal Man certificate (traffic marshalling )
