Job Summary:

The Site Acceptance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the final stages of telecom site deployment projects, ensuring that installations meet technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. This role involves performing site inspections, validating equipment installations, executing acceptance testing procedures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate site handovers.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site inspections to verify that telecom installations comply with design documents, industry standards, and customer requirements. Perform Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including equipment validation, signal quality measurement, cabling integrity, grounding, labeling, and environmental compliance. Ensure all required documentation (site drawings, test reports, photos, etc.) is accurate, complete, and submitted on time for customer acceptance. Identify and report site deficiencies or non-conformities, and coordinate corrective actions with implementation teams or subcontractors. Serve as the point of contact for client representatives during acceptance procedures. Assist in preparing Method of Procedure (MoP) documents and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all times on-site. Maintain detailed records of site acceptance activities and provide regular status updates to the project management team. Participate in the continuous improvement of site acceptance processes and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in telecom site implementation and/or acceptance processes (e.g., BTS, microwave, fiber, small cell, DAS). Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure (e.g., RAN, transmission, power systems, civil works). Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Site Master, spectrum analyzer, power meter, etc.) and site documentation standards. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, IEEE, and local telecom regulations. Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel frequently to remote sites.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
