Job Description

1. Project Planning & Coordination



Plan, organize, and oversee all site activities related to infrastructure works such as earthworks, drainage, roadworks, utilities, and related civil works. Ensure works are executed according to project specifications, drawings, and schedule. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of works. Prepare and update work programs, manpower, machinery, and material requirements.

2. Site Supervision & Execution



Lead and supervise site teams including site engineers, supervisors, and workers, to ensure daily targets are met. Monitor work progress, productivity, and workmanship to ensure quality and compliance. Resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays or rework. Conduct daily site inspections and ensure that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.

3. Quality Assurance & Control



Ensure all infrastructure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. Conduct inspection and testing of materials and completed works. Ensure non-conformance issues are addressed and rectified immediately. Maintain proper documentation of QA/QC records and reports.

4. Cost & Resource Management



Monitor material usage, equipment deployment, and workforce productivity to control project costs. Assist in verifying subcontractor claims and material invoices. Ensure work is carried out within budget and resources are utilized efficiently. Provide accurate site progress data for monthly valuations and cost tracking.

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)



Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with the company's HSE policies. Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings with site personnel. Identify and mitigate potential hazards at the worksite. Report all accidents, incidents, or near-misses to the Safety Officer and Project Manager.

6. Liaison & Communication



Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities regarding inspections, approvals, and site matters. Attend coordination and progress meetings as the company's representative at site level. Maintain effective communication between site teams, head office, and stakeholders.

7. Progress Reporting



Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. Monitor and update project schedules and highlight potential delays or critical issues. Provide feedback and technical input to management for decision-making.

8. Documentation & Record Keeping



Maintain accurate site records including daily site diaries, material delivery notes, inspection forms, and test reports. Ensure all project documentation is properly filed and available for reference or audit. Prepare as-built information and assist in project handover documentation.

9. Leadership & Team Development



Supervise, motivate, and guide site teams to achieve project goals. Mentor junior engineers and site staff in construction and management practices. Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive working environment.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month

Willingness to travel:

100% (Preferred)
