: Oversee all on-site construction works, including civil foundation, structural steel, mechanical equipment installation (pumps, pipes, valves), and electrical systems.
Technical Support
: Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and the on-site team, and resolve any construction-related issues that arise.
Project Planning & Monitoring
: Monitor project progress against the schedule, prepare daily / weekly progress reports, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure all milestones are met.
Quality & Safety Control
: Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and site procedures.
Documentation
: Maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings, material delivery logs, and daily site diaries.
Coordination
: Act as a key point of contract between the project team, subcontractors, and consultants.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Experience
: A minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience as a Site Engineer. Crucially, candidates must have proven experience in sewage treatment plant (STP) or pumping station projects.
Education
: Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Skills
: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts is essential.
Attributes
: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Must be a proactive and organized individual who can work well under pressure.
