Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrate proficiency in site management and construction supervision.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges effectively on-site.
Communicate clearly and concisely in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing.
Be willing to work full-time at the Sapangar Bay Container Port Project site in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Be able to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and any issues that arise.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the construction team, including contractors, subcontractors, and other engineers.
Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of construction activities at the Sapangar Bay Container Port Project, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate material deliveries, resolve technical queries, and ensure smooth workflow on-site.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, material inventories, and equipment usage, utilizing both English and Bahasa Malaysia as required.
Implement and enforce site safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and address any safety concerns promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in resolving technical problems that may arise during construction, utilizing problem-solving skills and communicating effectively with the project team to find efficient solutions.
Support the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion, ensuring accurate representation of the final construction details.
