A

Junior Site Engineer

typically supports the site management team in construction projects, providing technical assistance, supervision, and coordination to ensure that work is completed to the required standards.

Supervision & Monitoring

: Oversee day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that construction work progresses according to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.

Quality Control

: Ensure materials and work meet quality standards by conducting regular checks and inspections.

Coordination

: Liaise between contractors, workers, and the site management team to ensure efficient communication and problem-solving.

Technical Assistance

: Interpret technical drawings and ensure they are followed accurately during construction.

Documentation & Reporting

: Maintain daily logs, update site reports, and assist with documentation required for project completion.

Problem Solving

: Address on-site issues promptly, coordinating with senior engineers for solutions to any technical challenges.

Health and Safety Compliance

: Enforce safety regulations and conduct safety checks to maintain a secure work environment.
Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

: Assist in the planning and scheduling of project phases, ensuring resources (materials, tools, and labor) are allocated effectively.

Progress Monitoring

: Track project progress and ensure tasks are completed as per the schedule, addressing delays or potential issues.

Resource Management

: Ensure that equipment and materials are available when needed on-site.

Cost Control

: Assist in monitoring costs, preventing budget overruns, and managing resources efficiently.

Technical Input

: Provide technical advice on design adjustments or modifications based on site conditions.
Skills Required:

Technical Knowledge

: Strong understanding of civil engineering, construction methods, and materials.

Communication

: Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, workers, and management.

Problem-Solving

: Capable of handling unexpected site issues and finding immediate solutions.

Organizational Skills

: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Experience:

infrastructure construction: 2 years (Required) form traveller construction: 2 years (Required) bridge construction: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:

cidb, bachelor degree in civil engineering (Required)
Willingness to travel:

50% (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
