Job Title: Site Engineer/M&E Engineer Job Purpose: The primary responsibility of the site engineer is to oversee all aspects of construction at the cat hotel spa, grooming, and boarding facility. This includes monitoring progress on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established timelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Designing mechanical and electrical systems: The M&E engineer can be responsible for designing the mechanical and electrical systems that will be installed in the facility. This includes HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, power supply, security system, etc. 2. Overseeing construction: The M&E engineer can supervise the installation process of all mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure they meet the required specifications. 3. Preventative maintenance: As part of their role, the M&E engineer could develop preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment is serviced regularly to avoid breakdowns or malfunctions. 4. Troubleshooting technical problems: In case there are any issues with mechanical or electrical equipment within the facility like air conditioning units or water pumps not working properly then it would be up to them as engineers on-site to troubleshoot such faults 5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations: They should always make sure that everything is up-to-date according to proper codes from local government authorities regarding safety aspects related to electricity & machinery 6. Researching new technologies/innovations - staying current on trends & updates in technology so as to come up with innovative ideas which may help improve operations at this type of business. Requirements: 1. Diploma in engineering or related field from an accredited institution, 2. At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in managing commercial projects specifically within hospitality sector such as hotels/spas etc.. 3. Excellent communication skills both verbal & written plus ability to interact effectively w/multidisciplinary teams involved (architects/engineers/subcontractors) 4. Familiarity working w/autoCAD systems preferred but not required; Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite programs essential This Job Scope outlines general responsibilities expected from a Site Engineer/M&E Engineer working within this specific industry however other duties may be assigned depending upon needs arising from time-to-time based upon organizational requirements. Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM2,600.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
