Job Description
Company Background: We are representing our client, a building construction company, a main contractor. With the current expansion, they are looking for potential candidate to fill the position of Site Manager to be based at Cheng, Melaka.Position Title: Site ManagerSalary range: RM5,000 RM8,000Working Days: 6 working days (Mon - Sat, 8am 5pm)Main Responsibilities:Overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Manage all site operations, ensuring smooth coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
- Ensure proper planning and coordination of site work and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
- Adhered to and conducted regular site inspections.
- Supervise site personnel, including engineers, supervisors, and workers, ensuring they are performing efficiently and safely.
- Manage subcontractor performance and monitor work quality.
- Attend regular site meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to discuss site progress and challenges.
- Preparing progress reports, provide updates on site performance
- Undertake any other tasks or duties as requested
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site management, preferably with a main contractor company.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
