What will you be doing?

The Site Planner plays a crucial role in overseeing the Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) for the site, ensuring alignment across various functions and garnering support for the near-term financial plan. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position engages with multiple roles, including Operations, Global Planning, Regulatory, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Customer Service, Product Development, and Finance. The Site Planner takes on responsibilities such as conducting capacity analysis, developing monthly supply plans, generating material requirements, maintaining inventory levels, and reviewing service and demand reports. This role also collaborates with various teams for new product transfers, contributes to excess and obsolete stock reviews, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives for processes and performance.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Site Planner contributes to the continuous improvement of planning tools and processes. They play a vital role in safety and target stock reviews, offering recommendations to enhance the efficiency of the planning process. The position also involves root cause analysis of service shortfalls, with a focus on developing and communicating corrective actions. Overall, the Site Planner is instrumental in orchestrating an effective and efficient supply chain, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and meeting service requirements while aligning with financial objectives.

What will you need to be successful?

The ideal candidate for this role should bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, inventory planning, or purchasing, with a preference for backgrounds in medical, pharmaceutical, or consumer industries. Additionally, the candidate should have 5 years of related experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of ERP & advanced planning systems, preferably with expertise in SAP.
Implementation experience with ERP or Advanced Planning systems is desirable, showcasing the candidate\'s technical proficiency, especially in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Access.
Familiarity with relevant legislation, including GMP, FDA, ISO, UDI, and MDR requirements, is considered advantageous. Previous experience in the medical device industry is a plus, providing an extra edge to the candidate\'s qualifications.

In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should possess strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Adaptability and a strong drive for results are crucial attributes in a fast-paced environment.
