The Site Engineer (CSA) is responsible for supervising and managing
civil, structural, and architectural works
on-site to ensure that the construction activities are carried out in accordance with the
approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines
. This role ensures coordination between stakeholders and provides technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Site Supervision and Execution
Oversee day-to-day execution of
civil

structural

on-site.
Ensure work is carried out as per
approved drawings

method statements
, and
technical specifications
.
Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure adherence to
schedule

quality
, and
safety
requirements.
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines (MEP, finishes, etc.) for smooth site operations.
Attend and participate in site meetings, inspections, and coordination reviews.
Communicate any discrepancies, design issues, or site constraints to the relevant parties for resolution.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure that all materials and workmanship conform to project specifications and approved standards.
Conduct

reinforcement

finishing inspections

Collaborate with the QA/QC team to resolve any non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Education & Experience (Basic requirement for this position)
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Technology.
Professional registration (e.g., PE, CEng, or local equivalent) is an advantage.
3-5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision for building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Experience in managing CSA scope: earthworks, concrete, structural steel, architectural finishes, waterproofing, etc.
Skills and attributes
Strong technical knowledge in civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with construction management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera).
Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Not calculative and willing to learn beyond area of expertise for self-development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
