Background: Industrial Construction
Position Title: Site QA/QC Engineer (MEP)
Location: Kedah (Northern Region)
Tenure: 6 months - 1 year contract (based on the project)
Headcount: 1

Responsibilities:

• To support TME QC on all site inspection activities according to approved inspection test plan (ITP).
• To complete documentation to verify the work performed on site
• To ensure test reports are verified and meet contract requirement.
• To ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected and conform to specified requirements
• Take care of QA/QC document of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations.
• Response for the quality and workmanship of construction activities/works including interfacing different discipline operation on site

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related discipline Working
• Experience: Minimum 02 years relevant working experience in understanding and performing quality inspection in a plant or a fabrication/repair organization
• Must have the ability to work within strict deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour.
• Experience in shutdown planning and execution
• Advance knowledge of qualifying welder/welding operator qualifications ( in Steel/Thermoplastic field), including local regulation requirements.
• Carry out the site inspection and verification of all related documentation, both paper documents and electronic files.
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of local and international codes, standards and regulations; Learn, understand and use technical/engineering document and drawings; Able to work with Word, Excel, AutoCAD
• Working Period Request: Working on Monday to Saturday.
