The Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) is responsible for overseeing daily safety activities at electrical construction sites, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements (e.g., DOSH).
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce site safety procedures and ensure all workers comply with safety regulations.
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and on-site safety inductions.
Perform daily safety inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions.
Assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and preparing reports.
Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers and visitors on site.
Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure fire-fighting equipment is maintained.
Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and safety signage.
Liaise with Safety & Health Officer (SHO) and other stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
