1. Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the site.
2. Correcting any unsafe practices.
3. Checking of sub-contractors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with.
4. Liaise with contractors' safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 with respect to safety of work undertaken by sub-contractors.
5. Investigate accidents and report findings to manager.
6. Provide safety training and inductions to workers.
7. Develop and execute emergency response plans and equipment are in place.
8. Monitor and guide security guards by conducting regular patrols at sites to check for unusual activity and security breaches.
9. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments and inspections.
10. Responsible for environmental sustainability, including waste management and pollution control.
11. Responsible to follow the company's quality and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
12. Responsible to contribute and participate in activities related to the continuous improvement of quality and environmental management systems.
13. Assess environmental risk, aspect and support regular sustainability practices in daily operations for reducing environmental impacts.
14. Perform other duties assigned by Management.
