Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Register JKKP site

2. Educate site workers on safety procedures to be adopted at the site and make sure that they adhere strictly to safety standards

3. Ensure that the construction site is safe and free from any hazardous.

4. Report accidents that occur at the construction site to the project manager

5. Administer or make sure that first aid is administered to any injured construction worker

6. Ensure that the project is executed in compliance with local or state regulations

7. Identify any potential problem at the site and work to prevent it.

8. Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorized department (eg. Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB and etc) to maintain company progressive safety standards and requirement.

9. Prepare monthly Safety Audit Report to the management on timely basis.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science / Health & Safety or equivalent / relevant disciplines

2. Registered Safety & Health Supervisor with DIOSH/NIOSH/JKKP with Yellow Book holder

3. Possess valid Green Card (CIDB).

4. Min 2 years working experience in construction industry.

5. Good knowledge of all safety regulation/requirements and industrial best practice.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skill for effective interaction with all parties on site.

7. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety issues promptly.

8. Able to work at project sites and travel when required.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Education:

Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:

Site safety supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)
