Job Summary:

The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing all safety policies and procedures at the construction or project site. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a safe working environment and minimizes workplace incidents through continuous monitoring, training and enforcement of safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all site operations comply with local regulations, safety laws and company safety policies. Enforce corrective and preventive actions to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions and non-compliance issues. Perform Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC). Evaluate potential risks associated with tasks, equipment and work areas. Conduct incident investigations, determine root causes and prepare reports. Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and onboarding sessions for workers and subcontractors. Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox talks for site staff and contractors. Organize safety drills (fire, evacuation, first aid) Communicate safety rules, emergency procedures and safe work practices clearly. Prepare daily/weekly safety reports for management and clients. Participate in site meetings to provide updates on safety issues and improvement plans.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or industrial safety supervision. Strong knowledge of workplace safety laws and regulations. Excellent observational and analytical skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. Computer literacy (MS Office, safety management software) Ability to adapt to dynamic project environments.
