is currently seeking to hire a talented

Site Safety Supervisor

to join our team. Octagon is a fully integrated signage company with in-house capabilities spanning design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance, providing one-stop, end-to-end business solutions for corporate image needs.

/ Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Safety in implementing the HSE Management System standards. Monitor the effective implementation of safety and environmental system procedures and ensure updates in line with changes in legislation and company directives at site. Support the Head of Safety in conducting site inspection. Participate in accident investigations at site. Analyze accident and incident statistics, identify trends, and suggest improvement plans. Provide technical support to the Head of Safety on all safety-related matters. Conduct in-house safety training as and when required. Assist the Safety Manager in liaising with clients and government bodies on safety-related issues at site. Support the Head of Safety in performing risk assessments. Prepare and conduct safety orientations, training, and site procedures. Assist the Safety Manager in preparing HSE-related reports (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly) for management as and when required. Support internal and external audit activities. Conduct safety and environmental inspections of work areas at sites. Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:

Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related fields. At least 3 years of working experience in the safety & health industry. Certificates in

Basic Scaffold Inspector (Tube & Fittings)

and

Basic Lifting Supervisor

. Certificate in

Basic Scaffold Erector (Tube & Fittings)

is an advantage. Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare HSE reports. Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. Able to work independently with high self-discipline and commitment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others. Analytical with strong decision-making skills. Meticulous in carrying out inspections, audits, and follow-ups with other functional units. Committed and dedicated to assigned activities. Willing to travel for site projects.

Salary:

RM3,500 - RM4,000 per month

Working Hours:

Normal: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Saturday
