1. Responsible to recommend and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance to ESH legal requirements including customer and requirements. 2. To communicate and liaison with relevant authorities. 3. To review and ensure the updated regulations by the authority are implemented. 4. To carry out incident investigation and reporting to the relevant authority and management, to initiate corrective and preventive actions. 5. Inspect & rectifying any unsafe act conditions at the construction site. 6. Ensure safety records are maintained at the site. 7. Coordinate & support the safety committee & site safety audits. 8. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior. 9. Identify and understand the ESH Policy & Objective at work place. 10. Complying with the laws, regulations of ESH at work place. 11. To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health by the superior. 12. Promote the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking. 13. Ensuring that the QESHMS achieves its intended results.
