Job Description

• Candidates must possess at least Degree or Diploma in Building Construction/ Civil Engineering/ Architecture construction management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Construction, Architecture
• Able to work independently to maintain high standards and accuracy.
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office/ Project/ Autocad etc
• Location: Klang Valley
• Monday to Saturday (8.30am to 5.00pm)
• Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, identify safety hazards and report on their findings
• MUST have a YELLOW BOOKE register with JKKP
• Able to carry out risk assessment
• To assist Project Manager/ Site Manager or Project Engineer to supervise all safety and health issues on the project
• To liaise with government office like DOSH/ CIDB etc regarding workers matters
• Responsible to inspect and rectify any unsafe conditions on site
• Ensure that all accidents are reported/ documented/ investigated and recommended improvements implemented
• Responsible to take note on workers safety concern
• Manage and devise the agenda for Site Safety & Health Committee meetings. Ensure that all agreed action points are completed within deadlines
• To standby night work (night shift) when necessary
• Willing to relocate anywhere
• Willing to travel
• Advice/ implement/ compliance and continuous improvement for company\'s security/ safety and health and its related matters accordance to statutory & regulatory requirements and standard requirements.
• Manage administration of legal documentation and monitor all jobs comply to DOSH/ DOE/ BOMBA & etc related government bodies accordance to their legal requirements and standards.
• Perform other duties as and when required by the company.
• Coordinating first aid treatment and medical evacuation in cases of serious injury or illness.
• To assist project manager to setting workers workplace.
• Maintaining accurate records of accident data and near-miss incidents which can be used to identify problem areas and create solutions.
• Conducting regular check-ups on equipment such as lifts/ cranes/ scaffolding/ and electrical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safe to use.
• Monitoring the work environment to ensure that safety standards are met by workers and contractors
• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
• Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
• Prepare and submit report/record at the workplace to DOSH upon approval from management.
• Provide support in managing Workplace Safety Health & Environmental.
