Job Description

Ensure daily site operations comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant Malaysian regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and hazard identification; implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor high-risk activities (e.g., lifting, work at height, scaffolding, confined spaces). Assist in preparing and updating safety documents such as HIRARC, SWP, and Emergency Response Plans. Conduct site safety inductions and regular toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors. Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend improvements. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities (e.g., DOSH, CIDB) on safety-related matters. Keep accurate records of safety reports, inspection findings, and training attendance. Support the Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in implementing the project's overall HSE plan.

Job Requirements

Certificate of Site Safety Supervisor from NIOSH Malaysia. Registered with DOSH Malaysia (JKKP Reg No. required). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry. Familiar with Malaysian construction site safety standards and safety documentation. Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a strong presence on-site.
