• Valid Yellow Book holder registered with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (JKKP/DOSH)

• Good writing and verbal communication skills in both English & Bahasa

• Keen intention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.

• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.

• Assist to complete necessary documentation and application required by statutory requirement at project site.

• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.

• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.

• Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.

• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.

• Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.

• Liaise with sub-contractors, government officials and relevant parties to identify and solve safety and health issues.

• Participate in safety committees and meetings to involvement and engagement in safety initiatives.
