Job Description

:

1. Ensure site safety compliance with OSH standards and DOSH regulations for assigned projects. 2. Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety standards are followed. 3. Maintain safety documentation and submit reports to relevant stakeholders. 4. Act as the point of contact for clients, subcontractors, consultants and other external parties regarding safety and site coordination. 5. Supervise workers and subcontractors and to ensure safety protocols and work quality are upheld 6. Coordinate and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments. 7. Investigate accidents report incidents, and recommend corrective actions. 8. Provide safety inductions & chair daily Tool Box Meeting (TBM). 9. Conduct risk assessments and prepare emergency response plans. 10. Supervise high-risk activities to ensure proper safety measures are in place. 11. Communicate safety and site matters to all stakeholders and resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry. 2. Must possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification recognized by DOSH. 3. Must have a current ClDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Green Card 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English and/or Malay and/or Chinese. 5. Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to the construction and petrochemical/oil & gas sector 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels 7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety concerns in a timely manner
