\xe2\x80\xa2 Conducts safety meetings for workers on needs for safety process improvement as requested by Safety Coordinator to increase safety awareness and commitment in workers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist the Safety Officer/Senior Safety Coordinator to monitor sub-contractor activities and introduce suitable WSH requirements to sub-contractor to increase safety awareness and commitment in workers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide mentoring and some WSH training to the Safety Supervisors to ensure a good level of safety awareness and commitment in Safety Supervisors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reports all safety discrepancies observed to the Safety Coordinator and recommends corrective problems to ensure compliance to statutory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 On a regular basis, perform inspection on machinery, equipment, working conditions, buildings, and facilities, storage of flammable/combustible materials, working areas for hazards, noise and toxic as per statutory requirements i.e. project risk assessments to ensure compliance to statutory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Actively review and assess operation processes/equipment to identify potential hazards and report to Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance to statutory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct detailed investigation on major and minor accidents/problem areas after consulting the Safety Coordinator. \xe2\x80\xa2 Recommends future preventive measures including alternative methods or fixtures to alleviate the problem areas to prevent re-occurrence of similar accidents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
