POSITION

SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR (SSS) - BASED SITE LOCATION (PUTRAJAYA)

REPORTING TO

ASSISTANT MANAGER & PROJECT MANAGER

AUTHORITY

All departments & External Authorities

KEY DUTIES

Advise Perbadanan Putrajaya on Safety & Health Matters
- Provide advice on measures to ensure the safety, health, and welfare of workers.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and other relevant regulations, standards and Perbadanan Putrajaya Policies.

Inspect the Workplace
- Regularly inspect the workplace and equipment to identify hazards and risks.

- Recommend corrective actions to eliminate or minimize hazards.

- To maintain up to date knowledge of current and new legislative requirements, relating to health and safety issues, in order to interpret, evaluate and advise client on the implications of such legislation on service delivery

- Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify and address potential hazards.

Investigate Accidents and Incidents
- Investigate workplace accidents, dangerous occurrences, and occupational diseases to evaluate how safety measures can be improved.

- Prepare and submit investigation reports to management and authorities.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures and risk assessment. Able to conduct safety briefings, audits, and accident investigations. Good reporting and documentation skills. Effective communication with site workers and management (Malay & English). Ability to enforce discipline and ensure site compliance. Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information system is advantage

QUALIFICATION

Must possess certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or related field; Registered as SHO or SSS with DOSH Possess relevant certifications such as Green Book for SHO or Yellow Card or SSS registration card certified as SHO or SSS
