Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Safety Supervisor located in Sepang. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team. The Site Safety Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all personnel on our construction sites, implementing and enforcing safety policies, and promoting a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction safety, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures in accordance with company policies and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOSH Malaysia). Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues. Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive actions. Provide safety orientation and ongoing training to all new and existing employees, subcontractors, and visitors on site. Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and readily available for use. Maintain accurate safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety meeting minutes. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to integrate safety into all aspects of project planning and execution. Promote a proactive safety culture through regular safety talks, toolbox meetings, and awareness campaigns. Stay up-to-date with the latest safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements. Prepare and submit required safety reports to management and regulatory bodies. Oversee emergency response procedures and drills.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field. Must have OYK SSS Cert (For JKR Purposes) Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry. Thorough knowledge of local and national safety regulations and standards. Proven ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
