Position: Site Safety Supervisor
Contract Duration: 12 months contract
Location: Shah Alam, Selangor
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise of work site activities to ensure full compliance to Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and its regulations and regularly appraise line management.
- Carry-out work site inspection and first line assurance -functional to ensure that occupational safety and health risk associated with work activities as well as risk posed by machinery, plant, equipment, substance and appliance are managed to a level that is as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).
- Implement occupational safety and health program, in compliance with regulatory requirements, with a view to enhancing the level of occupational safety and health awareness at all work locations.
- Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and/or Diploma holder in any discipline with Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) Registered with DOSH
- Minimum 5 years HSE experience in Oil and Gas Industry or Construction Industry
- Additional specialized Skill depending on Project/site requirement:
- Minimum Charge man A4 (Registered with Energy Commission); or
- Lifting Supervisor Course; or
- Authorized Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor (Registered with DOSH); or
- Scaffolder L3 (Registered with DOSH) and Scaffold inspector Course
