Assist the site SHO on various tasks, in documentation and implementation of company / department OSH programs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, such as Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB and other related act, guideline & instruction.
Advise employers on best practices and measures for ensuring safety.
Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify any potential hazards
Monitor, inspect and correct any unsafe practices or conditions at project site.
Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure sub-contractors are adhering to safety regulations.
Ensure all sub-contractors are compliant with OSHA, FMA and other related regulations.
Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, poisoning, or diseases that occur on the project site.
Participate in HSE committees and execute HSE inspections and audits.
Monitor and maintain KPIs related to safety
Oversee all the workplace activities to ensure they are up todate and meet the safety standard.
Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management
Job requirements:
Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
Must have Yellow Book
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position.
Candidates who are able to start work immediately is highly preferred.* Applicants must be willing to work in Lukut, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan,
Applicants must be willing to work on every Saturday (8AM - 1PM)
