Job Description

Terengganu Silica - Principal Contractor (Mayura Solutions Sdn. Bhd.) is actively looking for the following positions:

1) Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) - Must be registered with DOSH

Project: TRG Silica (Marang) Sdn. Bhd. Field: Construction Based: Marang, Terengganu Type: One (1) year contract
Key Responsibilities:

1) Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify, investigate, and rectify any unsafe conditions or practices.
2) Inspect tools, equipment, and worker practices to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
3) Oversee housekeeping to maintain a clean and orderly site environment, particularly in areas of hazardous work.
4) Prepare and document all daily site safety records, including requests for inspections, work programs, and incident reports.
5) Attend scheduled safety meetings with the main contractor and client, providing updates and producing minutes of meetings for site and HQ records.
6) Report daily manpower updates to the main contractor and ensure that safety records are accurate and accessible.
7) Conduct safety inductions for new construction workers and daily toolbox meetings to reinforce safety practices.
8) Provide on-site safety training and coaching to workers, ensuring they understand and comply with job-specific safety requirements.
9) Promote a culture of safety, actively encouraging all workers and subcontractors to adhere to best safety practices.
10) Investigate and document any unsafe acts, accidents, or safety conflicts, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
11) Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce its use among all workers on-site.
12) Manage risks by proactively identifying potential hazards and taking preventative measures to ensure site safety.
13) Assist in the management of the civil works contract on-site, ensuring safety measures align with project plans, specifications, and SOPs.
14) Ensure that all site work complies with OSHA Act 1994 and other regulatory requirements.
15) Work with the main contractor and designated supervisors to prepare Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) and ensure safety standards are integrated into work milestones.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
