Supervise daily construction activities on site, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Ensure that civil works are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor progress and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
Identify potential issues or delays and propose solutions to the Project Manager.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and company standards.
Assist in preparing work schedules, resource allocation, and procurement of materials.
Support in training and mentoring site staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
Report on site progress, challenges, and resource requirements to management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in Penang or Malaysia.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Proven experience in supervising site teams and managing multiple contractors.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of construction software is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Frequent monitoring and inspection in outdoor conditions.
