Job Description

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Preferably 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Possesses a positive attitude, and ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
• Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review each project from kick-off with the project manager/engineer and become familiar with the unique aspects of the job. Understand the timeline involved in each project and assist the project manager/engineer in scheduling works at the site, liaising with relevant suppliers or sub-contractors in working at the site as per standard operating procedure.
• Create filing for each project related to site works and ensure the relevant hardcopy documents about the projects i.e. schedule, drawings, workflow, etc, as per standard operating procedure are kept in IT.
• Meet regularly with the project managers, engineers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to understand the specific needs of each job and determine where assistance is needed in ensuring all details are obtained and no delay in project completion.
• Understand each work in depth and explain the relevant work scope to the workers involved and ensure it is executed accordingly.
• To carry out inspection and tests as per inspection and Test Plans and use all quality control according to the relevant standards, regulations, approved drawings or technical data are given.
